HomeM.A.D.E. - Making A Difference for Everyone

Welcome to HomeM.A.D.E. - Making A Difference for Everyone a non-profit organization that coordinates events for purposes of fundraising for local charities, organizations and causes.

This organization was founded by Janet Ardebol, officially in 2006.  An entrepreneur of 26 years and event coordinator for 11, she made her tuition through University by making and selling crafts.  She graduated from University of Winnipeg with a B.Sc. in Biology and a B.A. in Pscyhology, in 1990.

From 1996-2006, Janet had a retail store in Winnipeg and utilized it to feature many artisans and crafters.  She mentored many and assisted them in the areas of marketing and packaging strategies and to be able to enter the retail realm of sales.  In order to continue her mentoring, she closed her store and is now pursuing HomeM.A.D.E.

Janet has been married to her devoted husband for 13 years, and has four children (ages 13, 12, 8, 6).  She currently assisted the Friends of the Winnipeg Public Library and the Friends of the Assiniboine Park Conservatory in fundraising events.  She has also worked with the MS Society and the Alzheimer's Society in fundraising efforts, as well.  She hopes to support local community centres and other charities, organizations and causes.

Her most recent addition to her repertoire, is Janet's WEB (Women in Entrepreneurship and in Business), where she hopes to successfully mentor women with their businesses, whether they are storefront or home-based.  Women who are employed for companies, government bodies, and other such entities, are also members of this growing organization, who seek friendship, comradry, information and assistance.

Our Mission

We have one goal - making the community we live in a better place.  By supporting Manitobans, our hope is to become a united front and making this world a better place - but it starts at home, our home.  We hope to inspire other individuals to take action, to get involved and to help support active causes and organizations that require assistance.

The following quotations epitomize our beliefs and our convictions.

Whether we live together in confidence and cohesion; with more faith and pride in ourselves and less self-doubt and hesitation; strong in the conviction that the destiny of Canada is to unite, not divide; sharing in cooperation, not in separation or in conflict; respecting our past and welcoming our future. Lester B. Pearson

In a world darkened by ethnic conflicts that tear nations apart, Canada stands as a model of how people of different cultures can live and work together in peace, prosperity, and mutual respect. Bill Clinton

There are no limits to the majestic future, which lies before the mighty expanse of Canada with its virile, aspiring, cultured, and generous-hearted people.Winston Churchill

When I'm in Canada, I feel this is what the world should be like. Jane Fonda
